Probing the hardware

The Joggler boot process is tolerant of missing components. It will boot normally if the screen and touchscreen are removed, so the whole front can be disconnected and it's still possible to connect via the network. The wifi module will still work if plugged into a different port (e.g. wiring to one of the internal ports) which can make it easier to manipulate and probe the PCB while the system is running.

The joggler also still plays the boot sound if the internal wifi stick is removed completely, though I haven't determined whether it can still use ethernet (the ethernet MAC address is copied from the wifi MAC so this may cause difficulty).
